Marlon Blackwell is one of my favorite architects, and I enjoyed the Architectural Record’s Schools of the 21st Century, which highlighted his work in a Fayetteville Montessori Elementary School.  This story focuses on how Blackwell uses design to create better classroom spaces, improve performance and shape school culture of the 21st Century. OMS and I subscribe to many of the same thoughts in terms of architectural designs for schools. I hope you will read the article and also visit OMS’ K-12 portfolio to see how we design spaces for 21st century learning that help to shape the school’s culture.
