Design, Sustainability, and Practice are not only key components of the architecture industry, but also were the key focus of the 2013 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Ohio Valley Region Convention. The conference was held on September 19-21 at the Marriott Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky in which architects in the Ohio Valley Region gathered to better understand how these three factors influence and continue to shape our practices and our profession on a day to day basis. A number of keynote speakers by notable architects were featured to bring these theories to reality, as well as to experience nationally recognized designers. The speakers featured included:

Frank Harmon FAIA
Marlon Blackwell FAIA
Vincent James FAIA
Jennifer Yoos FAIA
