Finally ready to open to the public next Wednesday, the September 11 Memorial Museum has been created by Davis Brody Bond in Memorial Plaza. Despite the controversy surrounding the museum, the architecture is beautiful and fascinating, including: An angular glass pavilion by Snohetta at the entrance Michael Arad’s memorial fountains Twisted metal ramp from remains.

Indiana Landmarks is putting on their seventh annual Mid-Century Modern Tour on Saturday, May 31, in the Avalon Hills and Devonshire neighborhoods of Indianapolis. The tour includes five homes, which all have a great exhibition of architectural and period furnishings. The individual home owners are supporters of the Modern movement and have graciously opened their homes for.

The Indianapolis Parks Board of Marion County awarded their renovation project of Chuck Klein Sports Complex to Brandt Construction, Inc. out of Indianapolis, IN. The scope of the project consists of a new community room, renovation to the three (3) softball fields, new fencing, backstops, rejuvenated infields and outfields, and new bleachers.
