EVANSVILLE, IND. – MAY 10, 2012 – The design work was completed in thirty days (and nights!) on an expedited schedule that will continue into construction. Midwest Contracting Inc. started the $186,000 project on March 27, 2012 and will complete on May 18, 2012

INDIANAPOLIS, IND – APRIL 9, 2012 – The IIDA Avant Garb Fashion Show was such a fun evening and there was a great turn out. The crowd of mainly interior designers and manufacturer’s reps were shoulder to shoulder at Sensu. All 19 entries were wonderful and expressed amazing imagination and creativity. There were four award categories.

BATESVILLE, IND. – MAY 4, 2012 – JEN FLEGEL – The Batesville Memorial Public Library commissioned Odle McGuire Shook (OMS) to find solutions to reduce the high reverberation time in an Annex space used for various activities, including crafts and meetings/presentations. The 30’x20’ Annex room currently has a reverberation time of between 2.5 and 3.0 seconds, meaning the time it takes.

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – MAY 2, 2012 –Several Odle McGuire Shook (OMS) team members attended a seminar last week by UIndy’s Center for Aging and Community called Inside, Outside, All Around the Town (http://cac.uindy.edu/) at the Wheeler Arts Community located in the Fountain Square District in downtown Indianapolis. Although it was not specifically meant for designers, it was beneficial.

BROWNSBURG, IND. – APRIL 30, 2012 – Odle McGuire Shook (OMS) has just completed the design for updated street lighting along Northfield Drive to replace existing dated street lights with new ornamental taller fixtures that match the newer lights used on a previous project along Northfield Drive. The new light poles provide more clearance for vehicular.
