Traditions at Solana was designed to represent a modern Jeffersonian style.  With existing Townhomes and Apartments as neighbors the challenge in designing the Assisted Living building was to keep the design similar but create a character new to the neighborhood.  With large, clean vertical lines, the design implies a matching height while its face alternates.

Add Colonnade and Colonnette to your Architecture Vocabulary

Colonnette:  A diminutive column which is usually either short or slender. Historical Restoration Study Update

The Rushville Public Library and Odle McGuire Shook are about to wrap up the architectural/historical restoration study.  Odle McGuire Shook and the Rushville Public Library have partnered with Indiana Landmarks and have been working hard to complete this comprehensive study on the originally designed McGuire Shook 1930 library.  This weekend on November 9 at 7pm the Rushville.
