The project, created by Ball State University, can be used by teachers, visitors to the state, Hoosiers looking to learn more about their communities…..the possibilities are endless. George Washington University has created the “the first walkable solar-paneled pathway in the world.” This self-proclaimed solar sidewalk is made up of PV floor panels that are designed with an energy-harvesting anti-slip surface that can support up to 882 pounds.
