Quoins in architectureDon’t forget that OMS has a new feature on its website called Ask OMS.  We hope you’ll Ask OMS questions, so that we can provide you answers in future blog posts.  The answer we’re providing you this week is the definition of Quions, which is a term commonly used in architecture.

Definition:  The dressed stones at the corners of buildings, usually laid so that their faces are alternately large and small.  From the French “coin” (corner).
